Request to add a labor accommodation activity to an industrial plot
Service provided for tenants that wants to construct workers’ accommodation on a leased industrial plot, subject to certain conditions.
Service Conditions
- Valid lease agreement in effect for the industrial plot.
- The labor accommodation shall be dedicated only to the laborers registered in the CR mentioned in the lease agreement.
- The plot area should not be less than 5,000 square meters.
- The area allocated for the labor accommodation on the industrial plot, including setbacks, shall not exceed 15% of the total area of the industrial plot.
- The area dedicated for the labor accommodation shall have an independent entrance and exit, and the tenant must obtain all necessary approvals and licenses from the relevant licensing authorities.
- The tenant undertakes full responsibility for managing and maintaining the labor accommodation in accordance with the rules and regulations related to the relevant licensing entities.
Required Attachments
- Provide the Directorate with the proposed labor accommodation drawings
- Provide the Directorate with the proposed number of labors to be accommodated.
- Indicate whether the proposed labour accommodation building already exists or is planned for future construction.
