Extend production start date

The production start date extension service allows industrial project owners to request a modification to the scheduled start date of production, especially in the event of a halt or non-start of production due to circumstances affecting the project's readiness.

Service Conditions

  • Have an active industrial license

Required Attachments

  • Documents that prove the justification for not commencing production, such as factory photos/photos of machines/lease contract/number of workers/machine purchase invoices. NOC from the Industrial Zones Directorate to extend the production start date for projects located in industrial areas leased by the Ministry.

Legal Regulations

  • Law No. (81) of 2006 approving the Common Industrial Regulatory Law of the GCC

Service Processes

  • Log in on www.industry.bh.
  • Go to “Industrial License”.
  • Choose to extend the expected production date
  • Find the Commercial Registration of the branch by entering the license number or the Commercial Registration number, without the branch number
  • Select the "Choose" button for the desired branch.
  • Choose the “Save Overview” button.
  • Change the expected production date to the new date under each tag (activity 1, activity 2, activity 3, etc.) and save it.
  • Attach verification documents for the application.
  • Provide justification for the production extension and press the submission button
