Patent Application Submission & Formality Examination
A patent application is filed for formal examination by verifying the existence of the attested authorization of agent, the attested assignment document and documents related to the genetic source or microorganisms, as well as the completed certified translation document of the invention specification.
Service Conditions
Who has the right to apply:
- The owner of the industrial design or model (a citizen or resident in the Kingdom of Bahrain).
- The legal agent appointed by the owner of the industrial design or model and registered in the agent registry.
Required Attachments
- Attested authorization of agent
- Assignment document
- Genetic Source (if any)
- Microorganism document (if available)
- Abstract, specification and patent claims in Arabic and English
