Change of company type (commercial company)
Submit the application electronically in person, through a professional body’s office, or through his authorized agent to change the legal form of the company according to the legal requirements (company types: partnership, limited liability company, public or closed shareholding company, holding company, limited partnership).
Required Attachments
- A decision from the company owner / meeting minutes of partners / a decision from shareholders
- Draft memorandum of association / articles of association / declaration of incorporation of the company
Legal Regulations
- The Commercial Register Law and the Commercial Companies Law promulgated by Decree-Law No. (12) of 2001 and its amendments with the executive regulations

Service Processes
- Investor submits an application through the SIJILAT system
- A decision on the request is made by the Registration Department of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce
- The announcement of the change in the legal form of the company is published in the Official Gazette and local newspapers
- The memorandum of association is notarized by a notary
- The transaction process is completed
