Change of business activity (commercial company)
Submit a request to remove or add an existing or new activity in the Commercial Registration.
Required Attachments
- A notarized power of attorney if the applicant is an unrelated party to the Commercial Registration holder, or an unnotarized power of attorney if the applicant is a professional office or an authorized employee registered on the same registration
- A decision from the company owner / meeting minutes of partners / a decision from shareholders or the board of directors or a manager according to type of company and new activity (if it is similar or different)
- Draft amendment to the memorandum of association/ articles of association / declaration of incorporation related to the object clause to be amended in the event of adding a new activity

- The Commercial Register Law and the Commercial Companies Law promulgated by Decree-Law No. (12) of 2001 and its amendments with the executive regulations

- Investor submits an application through the SIJILAT system
- A decision on the request is made by the Registration Department of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce
- All necessary approvals are obtained from the licensing parties
- Amendment to the memorandum of association is notarized by a notary in the event of adding a new activity
- Transaction fees are paid
- The online transaction is completed
