Change of company term (commercial company)

This service allows business owners to modify the company's term as stipulated in the articles of association, either by extending or reducing the original term.

Required Attachments

  • A notarized power of attorney is required if the applicant is unrelated to the Commercial Registration holder, or an unnotarized power of attorney if the applicant is a professional office or an authorized employee registered on the same registration
  • The decision of the owner of the company, or the minutes of the meeting of the partners, or the decision of the shareholders
  • Draft amendment of the memorandum of association / articles of association / declaration of incorporation related to the amendment of the article of the company’s term only

  • The Commercial Register Law and the Commercial Companies Law promulgated by Decree-Law No. (12) of 2001 and its amendments with the executive regulations
