Change the group’s trade name (commercial company)
This service allows establishment and companies to add a new trade name to their group or modify the current commercial name in the commercial register, in line with applicable regulations.
Required Attachments
- A notarized power of attorney if the applicant is an unrelated party to the Commercial Registration holder, or an unnotarized power of attorney if the applicant is a professional office or an authorized employee registered on the same registration
- A decision from the company owner / meeting minutes of partners / a decision from shareholders to add or change the group’s trade name
- Draft of an amendment to the memorandum of association/articles of association/association endorsement related to amending the article on trade name

Service Processes
- Log in to the SIJILAT system and select the transaction: Investor submits an application through the SIJILAT system
- A decision on the request is made by The Registration Department of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce
- An announcement on the trade name change shall be submitted and the application will be approved upon completion of the publication period
- Submission of notarized Amendment to memorandum of association
- The amendment process is completed
