Licensing and Renewal of Annual Registration for Audit Firms

This service includes the licensing of competent and qualified audit firms that review the accounts of companies and enterprises, vet, and cross-check all types of accounts, records, and ledgers of an establishment as well as the outcomes of its work. These authorized audit firms prepare reports relating to the establishment’s financial conditions. In addition, an Audit Firm may conduct all kinds of accounting work in its different branches.

Service Conditions

  • The academic qualifications obtained by the applicant, duly certified, and the professional qualifications, if any, which are the affiliation certificates to one of the recognized accounting institutes such as CPA, ACCA, CA.
  • A certificate of scientific experience for the period that the applicant has spent practicing audit work, signed by the competent authority, stamped and certified

Required Attachments

  • A certificate of academic expertise for the period that the applicant has spent practicing audit work, signed by the competent authority, stamped, and certified

Legal Regulations

  • Current applied law: Decree-Law No. (26) for 1996 regarding auditors; a new law will be applied in December 2021, which is the Decree-Law No. (15) of 2021 regarding external auditors
