Add a branch (commercial company)
Submit an application to add a new branch, whether to conduct the same commercial activity as a previous branch or a new commercial activity.
Required Attachments
- Notarized power of attorney if the applicant is an unrelated party, or an unnotarized power of attorney if the applicant is a professional office or an employee registered on the same record
- A decision from the company owner / meeting minutes of partners / a decision from shareholders or the decision of the board of directors or a manager depending on the type of the company and activity (similar or different activities)
- Draft amendment of the memorandum of association / articles of association related to the amendment of the articles associated with the company’s object clause if a branch is added with a new commercial activity

- Commercial Register Law with the executive regulations
- Commercial Companies Law issued by Decree-Law No. (12) of 2001 and its amendments with the executive regulations
- Trade Names Law

- Investor submits an application through the SIJILAT system
- The Registration Department of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce makes a decision regarding the application

- The online process is completed
