Traffic Accident Handling
Handling Traffic Accidents (Property Damage, Injuries) – for traffic accidents involving property damage not settled between the involved parties or accidents that cannot be resolved by insurance companies, such as running a red light, speeding, or driving without a license, as well as accidents involving injuries.
Service Conditions
- Valid civil liability insurance for the duration of the registration certificate.

- Driving license
- Vehicle ownership certificate
- Injury report from hospital in case of accident with injuries

Service Processes
- Book an appointment through the National Appointment System and go to one of the external service centers to handle the accident, or report the accident by calling the Traffic Inquiry Center (199) if vehicles cannot be moved off the road.
- Verify that all required documents and conditions are met.
- Take the necessary actions according to the nature of the accident.
- Pay the accident settlement fine and any traffic violation fines (if applicable).
- Pay the fees and issue the traffic accident report.
- Report the accident by calling the Traffic Inquiry Center (199).
- Dispatch the specialized teams to inspect and handle the accident and take the necessary actions based on the nature of the accident.
- Visit the Traffic Accidents Division at the General Directorate of Traffic or Muharraq Security Complex to complete legal procedures.
- Refer the traffic accident to the judicial authorities.
- Pay the fees and issue the traffic accident report.
