Final Export of Vehicle
Issuance of a certificate permitting the vehicle to be exported from Bahrain for registration abroad
Service Conditions
- Valid vehicle registration
- Clear all traffic fines, contraventions, and accidents (if any)
- No legal restrictions (seizure or loans)
- Pay applicable fees
Required Attachments
- Valid ID card
- Vehicle ownership certificate
- Completed licensing division form signed by the vehicle owner (for companies or establishments: the form must be stamped, a company letter attached, along with a copy of the commercial registration)
- Clearance certificate issued by the financing entity in case the vehicle is under installment.

- Ministerial Resolution No. (309) of 1998 regarding the replacement of fees for the services of the General Directorate of Traffic

- 45 : Final Export of Vehicle
Fee Details:
- 15 : No-objection certificate for exporting any vehicle
- 6 : Fee for issuing ownership certificate
- 12 : Fee for issuing a single-copy metal plate for any other type of plate
- 6 : If any other type of certificate is requested, an additional fee applies

Service Processes
- Book an appointment through the National Appointment System application.
- Go to the General Directorate of Traffic – Vehicle Licensing Division or one of the external service centers, ensuring the required documents are provided.
- Vehicle must undergo a technical inspection if its registration has expired.
- Verify that all required documents and conditions are met.
- Retrieve the registration plates and ownership certificate from the vehicle owner.
- Pay the prescribed fees.
- Receive the metal plates from Bahrain Logistics Company at the main building of the General Directorate of Traffic.
