Registration of vehicles imported from GCC countries

Register a new or used vehicle imported from a GCC country

Required Attachments

  • Completed vehicle registration form signed by the vehicle owner (for companies or institutions, the form should be stamped, and a copy of the company’s Commercial Registration should be attached)
  • Identity Card
  • Insurance certificate (valid for one year)
  • Customs certificate
  • Final export certificate (if the vehicle is coming from UAE, Kuwait, Oman)
  • Attach one of the following certificates: final export certificate, customs certificate, or detailed report if the vehicle is being imported from Saudi Arabia
  • Vehicle technical inspection pass

Legal Regulations

  • Law No. (23) of 2014 issuing the Traffic Law
  • Minister of Interior Decision No. (154) of 2015 issuing the executive regulations for the Traffic Law promulgated by Law No. (23) 2014, and its amendments.
