Registration of new vehicles from local dealerships

Registration of new vehicles purchased from car dealerships in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Required Attachments

  • Registration form for new vehicles signed by the owner of the vehicle (for companies or institutions, the form should be stamped, and a copy of the company’s Commercial Registration should be attached)
  • Insurance certificate (valid for one year)
  • Valid Identity Card
  • In the case of selling the vehicle in instalments, a bank letter demonstrating this must be attached to the form

  • Law No. (23) of 2014 issuing the Traffic Law
  • Minister of Interior Decision No. (154) of 2015 issuing the executive regulations for the Traffic Law promulgated by Law No. (23) 2014, and its amendments.
