Required Attachments
Authorization:
- Authorization form signed by the owner of the vehicle
- Authorized driving license
- Copy of vehicle ownership
- Copy of the owner’s Identity Card
- The stamp of the ministry, company, or owner institution

- Minister of Interior Decision No. (154) of 2015 issuing the executive regulations for the Traffic Law promulgated by Law No. (23) 2014, and its amendments.

Service Processes
- Access the eGovernment website of the eTraffic app (the service is available online for certain plate types)
- Sign in using eKey
- Select the services of the General Directorate of Traffic
- Select the vehicle authorization service for the King Fahd Causeway
- Select a vehicle authorization issuance service
- Select the vehicle number from the list and choose the driver’s identification. Enter the CPR number, along with the authorization and contact information
- Verify the information and press send. Once the request has been sent successfully, the authorization certificate will be displayed. The certificate can be downloaded and printed
- Authorized person attends the General Directorate of Traffic branch located at Kind Fahad Causeway, to approve the authorization
