Issuance of Permits for Movement of Equipment, Trucks, and Loads
Issuance of permits to move machinery, trucks, and regular or oversized loads depending on whether they exceed the maximum legal limits of length, width, height, and weight, with the provision of escort patrol service if required.
Service Conditions
- Approval and permit from the Road Projects and Maintenance Directorate at the Ministry of Works, along with the designated route from them (for non-regular loads).
- Settlement of all fines, violations, and traffic accidents (if any).
Required Attachments
- Personal ID card
- A letter from the company or institution specifying the type of load, the truck or machinery dimensions with the load, weight, and truck plate number, along with the route from and to the location. : Length, width, height in meters , weight in tons with the truck and the number of the truck
- Measurements: length, width, height (in meters) and weight (in tons), total including truck and load.

- Minister of Interior Decision No. (154) of 2015 issuing the executive regulations for the Traffic Law promulgated by Law No. (23) 2014, and its amendments.
- Ministerial Resolution No. (309) of 1998 regarding the replacement of fees for the services of the General Directorate of Traffic
Fees
- 6 BHD : Prescribed fee for issuing various types of certificates (6 BHD) (Truck Escort Permit).
- 5 BHD : If escort patrol is required, a fee of 5 BHD is charged per hour or part of an hour for truck escort service.
