  • Clear all fines and violations (if any)

  • Law No. (23) of 2014 issuing the Traffic Law
  • Minister of Interior Decision No. (154) of 2015 issuing the executive regulations for the Traffic Law promulgated by Law No. (23) 2014, and its amendments
  • Ministerial Resolution No. (309) of 1998 regarding the replacement of fees for the services of the General Directorate of Traffic

Fees

  • From 10 BHD to 20 BHD : Fees
  • 20 BHD : Replacement for lost or damaged driving licenses valid for 5 years
  • 20 BHD : Replacement for lost or lost or damaged trial driving license valid for 5 years
  • 10 BHD : Replacement for lost or damaged temporary learner's license valid for 1 year
  • 15 BHD : Replacement for lost or damaged instructor's learner license valid for 1 year

Service Processes

  • Select “General Directorate of Traffic services”.
  • Select ”issuing a replacement for a lost or damaged driving license”.
  • Enter the personal number, ID card expiry date, and building number.
  • Choose the required license category.
  • Choose the type of service.
  • Click Continue.
  • Conditions will be verified.
  • Pay the fees
  • For printed copy: Processed at the Directorate (license printing): 2 working days max. Delivery: up to 5 working days via Bahrain Post.
  • For electronic copy: Immediate

  • Booking an appointment through the National Appointment System application.
  • Go to the General Directorate of Traffic – Driver’s License Division or one of the external service centers, ensuring the required documents are provided.
  • Verify that all required documents and conditions are met.
  • Pay the prescribed fees.
