Replace Vehicles plate numbers
Transferring Vehicles plate numbers between two vehicles
Service Conditions
- Documents proving the identity or place of residence of the vehicle owner
- Documents that accept the status of a vehicle registration application
- Documents proving ownership of the vehicle
Required Attachments
- ID card
- Fill the vehicle registration form and to be signed by the vehicle owner (for companies or institutions, the form should be stamped and a letter from the company is attached)
- Termination of all violations and accidents associated with the vehicle
- Bring the metal plates
- Bring a certificate of ownership of the vehicle whose number you want to replace
- A written letter signed by the owner to waive the number and bring the original ID card
- The vehicle whose number is to be changed must be valid for registration
Legal Regulations
- Law No. (23) of 2014 issuing the Traffic Law
- Minister of Interior Decision No. (154) of 2015 on the issuing of the executive regulations for the Traffic Law promulgated by Law No. (23) 2014 and its amendments.
Fees
- 20 BD : Fee for transferring the vehicle plate number to another
- 6 BD : Fee for issuing vehicle ownership certificate
- 5 BD : Fee for issuing the vehicle registration certificate
- 100 BD : Ownership of the vehicle owner with the registration number
- 3.5 BD : fee for a single copy of a metal plate for a vehicle with a special registration number
- 3.5 BD : The prescribed fee for a single copy of a metal plate for a vehicle with a motorcycle registration number
- 5 BD : The prescribed fee for a single copy of a metal plate for a vehicle with a public transport registration number
- 6 BD : The prescribed fee for a single copy of a metal plate for a vehicle with a special transport registration number
- 12 BD : The fee for issuing a license plate from one copy of a vehicle to any other type of plate
