Implementation of judicial decisions for issuing passports
This service implements judicial decisions related to the issuance of a Bahraini passport to Bahraini citizens.
Service Conditions
- The father or the legal representative for new-borns and incompetent children must be present when receiving the passport at Isa Town branch.
Required Attachments
- Application form
- Execution letter issued by the execution court
- The Sharia judicial ruling
- The legal decision (if any)
- Certificate proving that no appeal or discrimination occurred against the judicial ruling, issued by the Courts Department
- Father and mother’s original passport
- Original birth certificate
- Original marriage certificate
- Original divorce certificate (in case of divorce)
- A recent and clear 4×6 coloured personal photo with a white background. The photo must be attached separately in JPEG format. Its size should not exceed 1MB
- Copy of the death certificate (in case of the death of a parent)

- Law No. (11) of 1975 regarding passports, and its amendments.

Service Processes
- Application is submitted after 45 days from the date of the judicial ruling
- Fill out and sign the application form, signing the acknowledgement by hand
- Access the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs website (Tawasul)
- Select the department, followed by the type of service, and fill out the required fields
- If the application is accepted, a text message and an email containing a payment link will be sent
- After payment is received, a text message containing the payment receipt will be sent
- When the passport is ready for collection, a text message requesting the applicant to attend the Isa Town branch will be sent. The applicant must present the original documents that were attached upon submission of the application
