Issuance of Travel Permit

Service Conditions

• Application must be submitted by the father or an authorized person at any of the service centers, for newborns and individuals with limited capacity.
• The father or a legal representative with a special power of attorney must be present when submitting requests for newborns and persons with limited capacity.

Required Attachments

Required Document personal attendance

• Service application form.
• A new, clear, colored frontal photo 4x6 with a white background.
• The original birth certificate and a copy of it, and a certified copy from the relevant authorities.
• The original passport of the father and mother, and copies of them.
• The original marriage certificate and a certified copy issued by the official authorities.
• Death certificate, in case of death of the father or mother, and a copy of it (if any).
• The original power of attorney and a copy of it.
• Any other documents that may be requested by the Department.

Issuance of travel permit born abroad: (via bahrain.bh)

• Original marriage certificate, a copy of it, and a certified copy from the relevant authorities.
• Any other documents that may be requested by the Department.
• A new, clear, colored frontal photo (JPG-JPEG) with a white background.
• The original birth certificate, a copy of it, and a certified copy from the relevant authorities.
• A copy of the father's and mother's passports.

Issuance of travel permit lost or damaged: (via bahrain.bh)

• A copy of the original passport.
• A copy of the passport in case of loss or damage (if available).
• A copy of the report lost abroad.
• A new, clear, colored front-facing photo (JPG-JPEG) with a white background.
