Issuance of Travel Permit
This service is for the children of Bahraini citizens born outside the Kingdom of Bahrain, in addition to Bahraini citizens whose passports are damaged or lost abroad.
Service Conditions
- Application must be submitted by the father or an authorized person at any of the service centers, for newborns and individuals with limited capacity.
- The father or a legal representative with a special power of attorney must be present when submitting requests for newborns and persons with limited capacity.
Required Attachments
Required Document personal attendance
- Service application form.
- A new, clear, colored frontal photo 4x6 with a white background.
- The original birth certificate and a copy of it, and a certified copy from the relevant authorities.
- The original passport of the father and mother, and copies of them.
- The original marriage certificate and a certified copy issued by the official authorities.
- Death certificate, in case of death of the father or mother, and a copy of it (if any).
- The original power of attorney and a copy of it.
- Any other documents that may be requested by the Department.
Issuance of travel permit born abroad: (via bahrain.bh)
- Original marriage certificate, a copy of it, and a certified copy from the relevant authorities.
- Any other documents that may be requested by the Department.
- A new, clear, colored frontal photo (JPG-JPEG) with a white background.
- The original birth certificate, a copy of it, and a certified copy from the relevant authorities.
- A copy of the father's and mother's passports.
Issuance of travel permit lost or damaged: (via bahrain.bh)
- A copy of the original passport.
- A copy of the passport in case of loss or damage (if available).
- A copy of the report lost abroad.
- A new, clear, colored front-facing photo (JPG-JPEG) with a white background.
