Reconsideration and Appeal

The service allows suppliers and contractors to apply for reconsideration of any tendering procedure or related decision within ten days from the date of becoming aware of the procedure/ decision for local tenders, and twenty days for international tenders.

Service Conditions

  • Written request or registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, or completed appeal form.

Required Attachments

  • Written request or registered letter with a delivery note or filling out the appeal form.

Legal Regulations

  • Article No. 56, 57, 58, 59 and 60 of Decree-Law No. (36) of 2002 regulating tenders, auctions, purchases, and government sales.
  • Article No. 91, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98 of the Executive Regulations of the Law Regulating Government Tenders and Purchases.

  • Go to the services page – eForms
  • Download the Reconsideration/Appeal Form
  • Fill out the form with the required details
  • Send the form via email to the Tender Board: info@tenderboard.gov.bh
