Transfer of reserves

This service allows insurees to submit a request to transfer the reserves between insurance funds. In-person attendance is not required for this service.

Required Attachments

  • Identity Card
  • Bank statements covering a 3-month period
  • Service Certificate
  • Salary slips covering a 3-month period

Legal Regulations

  • Law No. (26) of 2011 regarding the transfer of the reserves of government employees, officers and members of the Bahrain Defense Force and Public Security and the insured for their periods of service or their participation in insurance between the pension and insurance funds they are subject to

  • Send an email to frontoffice@sio.gov.bh
  • Attach the reserves transfer form signed by the applicant with the Identity Card (CPR)
  • The request is examined by the reception centre within 48 hours.
