Registration and Renewal of Companies Working in the Field of Asbestos Removal
This service enables beneficiaries to submit a request to obtain a license for specialized facilities to work in the removal of hazardous asbestos sheets and materials, in accordance with the environmental instructions and guidelines. The request can be submitted and tracked electronically.

- Having an active commercial register (for commercial use) in the Kingdom of Bahrain

- Recent medical certificates prove the fitness of workers, and they are free from any diseases related to asbestos. The medical certificates must not exceed 14 days from the date of submitting the application for license)

- list of the available tools and equipment which are used for asbestos removal
- Any additional documents or attachments that may be required in accordance with regulatory procedures
Legal Regulations
- Ministerial Resolution No. (4) of 1999 on licensing the maintenance of equipment and buildings containing asbestos, as well as the removal and transfer of asbestos, and the disposing of its waste.
- Law (7) of year 2022 regarding the environment and all ministerial decisions and laws under it
- Ministerial Order No. (4) of 2021 regarding the fees of the licenses and services provided by the Supreme Council for Environment
