Service Conditions
- Having an active commercial register (for commercial use) in the Kingdom of Bahrain
- Providing a license certificate for the use of the biodegradable plastic logo from the Saudi Standards and Metrology Organization (SASO)
Required Attachments
- Annual production report (degradable and non-degradable materials) where applicable
- Certificate for use of biodegradable plastic logo for the factory from SASO
- Declaration to import and manufacture plastic bags with a thickness not less than 35 microns.
- Any additional documents or attachments that may be required in accordance with regulatory procedures
Legal Regulations
- Ministerial Order No. (4) of 2021 regarding the fees of the licenses and services provided by the Supreme Council for Environment
- Ministerial Resolution No. (11) of 2019 regarding the issuance of technical regulations for plastic products by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Tourism.
- Law (7) of year 2022 regarding the environment and all ministerial decisions and laws under it
