Certificates for trade in endangered species – re-export
This service enables beneficiaries to submit a request for the re-export of endangered species listed under the CITES Convention, such as parrots, falcons, deer, agarwood, rare animal skins, and others. Other domesticated species fall under the jurisdiction of the Agriculture and Animal Resources Affairs at the Ministry of Municipalities and Agriculture Affairs. The request can be submitted and tracked electronically.
Service Conditions
- Existence of an active commercial register for company in the Kingdom of Bahrain
Required Attachments
- A copy of the cpr
- A copy of a valid commercial register cr
- Cites certificate
- Any other supporting documents such as bird Ring numbers (depending on the type of organism and appendix it is included in)
Legal Regulations
- Law (7) of year 2022 regarding the environment and all ministerial decisions and laws under it
- Law No. 5 of 2021 regulating and controlling international trade in endangered species of wild plant and animal groups
- Ministerial Order No. (4) of 2021 regarding the fees of the licenses and services provided by the Supreme Council for Environment
