Asbestos Removal
This service enables licensed facilities for asbestos removal to submit prior requests to obtain the Council’s approval for asbestos removal at specific sites. The request can be submitted and tracked electronically.
Service Conditions
- Having an active commercial register (for commercial use) in the Kingdom of Bahrain
Required Attachments
- A duly completed application form.
- Valid CR.
- Building and asbestos pictures.
- List of PPE with pictures.
- Pictures for temporary storage location for Asbestos Boxes.
Legal Regulations
- Ministerial Resolution No. (4) of 1999 on licensing the maintenance of equipment and buildings containing asbestos, as well as the removal and transfer of asbestos, and the disposing of its waste.
- Law (7) of year 2022 regarding the environment and all ministerial decisions and laws under it
- Ministerial Order No. (4) of 2021 regarding the fees of the licenses and services provided by the Supreme Council for Environment
