Request to issue a certificate for board members of an owners’ association
This service involves the issuance of a certificate for the board members of an owners’ association to enable them to represent the association and officially act on behalf of the association to open bank accounts, issue the necessary licenses, and active their role as required.
Service Conditions
- The member of the board of directors must be the owner of the real estate unit
- To be over 21 years old
- To be residing in the Kingdom of Bahrain
- He must not have been previously convicted in bankruptcy cases or a crime against honor and trust
- The owner should not represent more than one member
- A plan of the location of the real estate showing the detached units and common areas whose maintenance and management is the responsibility of the Federation and the Board of Directors
- The articles of association and main articles shall be submitted on the form prepared by the institution
- Applications are submitted on the forms, which are Form 10, 11 and 11b prepared by the institution
- A certificate of good conduct for the members of the board of directors is valid for a period of 3 months
- Minutes of the General Assembly meeting showing the names of the elected board of directors, the articles of association, contracts and budget
- Supporting documents such as passport/ID Card must be valid
