Final approval for selling apartments and building floors

After obtaining final approval for the sale of apartments and building floors, the developer/owner of the project can issue ownership documents for each unit to enable the sale of units and their transfer to buyers. This service is shared by the RERA and the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture and Urban Planning Development Authority

Service Conditions

  • The real estate’s classification, area and dimensions should be in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom, specifically Law No. 3 of 1994 Regarding subdivision of lands. And resolution No. 65 of 2009 and the subsequent amendments to the regulations and resolution No. 28 of 2009 regarding developments regulatory regulations
  • The building must be complete and a letter of no objection to the electricity supply has been issued to it
  • The application must be submitted by a consulting engineering office

Required Attachments

  • Property title deed
  • Copy of the owner/developer’s Identity Card
  • Address certificates
  • Letter of no objection for the delivery of electricity issued by the relevant municipality
  • Building Permit
  • Certified engineering drawings
  • Coloured plans in accordance with Bahrain Property Measurement Standards (BPMS)

Service Processes

  • Apply for the approval through email to RERA in addition to sending a hard copy of the required documents
