Issuance of a real estate broker licence
This service enables the issuance of real estate broker licenses to Bahraini citizens for commercial activities related to brokerage and the signing of contracts for built and unbuilt properties.
Service Conditions
- The license holder must be Bahraini
- Has 3 years experience in the real estate sector
- He is over 18 years old
- Attending training courses
- The commercial activity concerned with mediation is: Real estate activities on the basis of fees or contracts - indication in real estate and activity number 682-2
- The commercial register is active and not expired
- Insurance against profession errors is 100 thousand dinars for companies and 50 thousand dinars for individual institutions
- A certificate of good conduct and conduct is valid, not expired, and its duration does not exceed 3 months from the date of issuance
- All supporting documents such as the ID Card or passport are valid and not expired
- A ID Card or a Bahraini passport can be submitted
- If the applicant is a sole proprietorship, the license is issued to the record holder only.

- An extract of the Commercial Registration
- Document proving three years of experience

- Log in to the eGovernment website using the eKey
- Enter the Commercial Registration number
- Enter the applicant’s personal information
- Upload the required documents
- Submit the application
- After the application has been reviewed by RERA, the applicant is notified online to pay the relevant fees determined by the system
- The applicant will be notified via the system and e-mail of receiving the license
