Issuance of a property manager licence – temporary or permanent (first time applicants)

This service enables the issuance of property manager licences to Bahraini citizens looking to practice property management activities on behalf of owners. This includes preparation and implementation of maintenance schedules; repair of property, equipment and facilities; rent; development; cleanliness; insurance; budget preparation; participation in the management of bank accounts; and the preparation of financial and technical reports related to the property.

Service Conditions

  • To have a minimum of 6 months experience in real estate management
  • Attending training courses
  • The commercial activity concerned with real estate management is: Real estate activities on the basis of fees or contracts - Real estate management and activity number 682-1
  • The commercial register is active and not expired
  • A certificate of good conduct and conduct shall be valid and not expired and shall not exceed 3 months from the date of issuance
  • All supporting documents such as the ID Card or passport are valid and not expired
  • A ID Card or a Bahraini passport can be presented
  • In the event that the owner of the company wishes to appoint one of the employees as a real estate manager, a letter of appointment is required
  • The work and residence visa must be valid and at the risk of the company he works for (for the foreigner).
  • A temporary or full license is issued according to the experience available to the applicant
  • In the event that the real estate manager wishes to carry out the activities of the owners association in addition to managing real estate, an experience document must be submitted

  • An extract of the Commercial Registration details
  • Document proving six months to three years of experience
  • Letter of appointment from employer
  • Work and residence permit (for foreign nationals)
  • Proof of owners’ association members experience (In the event that the real estate manager wishes to add the activities of the owners association)
  • property management or Owners’ association training course attendance (In the event that the real estate manager wishes to renew the activities of the owners association)
