Registration / Re-registration of fertilizers and agricultural soil improvements
The Department of Plant Wealth begins to take samples of fertilizers and agricultural soil enhancers to request registration, in order to ascertain the natural properties and percentages of its components, and the extent to which they conform to the conditions of fertilizers and approved agricultural soil improvements and registration to evaluate fertilizers & agricultural soil improvements in accordance with the specifications and requirements of the regulation law of the Fertilizers and Agricultural Soil Improvements Act.
Required Attachments
- A copy from the Commercial Registration including activity: "Trade/sale of fertilizers, soil improvements and pesticides", ISIC4 Code: 46692
- Provide technical and introductory information about the manufacturer of the product
- Technical leaflet on the uses of the product and its validity, proportions and dates of adding it to different crops
- Product analysis certificate from the producing company
- Certificate of non-objection from the Ministry of Interior (General Directorate of Investigations and Forensics) in the case of using chemical fertilizers
- Certificate of product free of urban waste and sewage in the case of organic fertilizers
- Certificate of radiation-free or quantitative radiation if required

Service Processes
- Fill out the application for the registration of fertilizers and agricultural soil improvements, provide the required documents, and hand over samples for analysis.
- Review the application and hand over the applicant form of security approval (special cases) to be packaged and submitted to the competent authority.
- Receive of the application submitted and the final decision. In case of disapproval, the application is immediately rejected.
- Ensure the documents submitted are completed. If all Required Documents are completed, the sample will be sent to the analysis laboratories to record sample data in a special record and attach the sample analysis request.
- Collecting fees (special laboratory) and analyzing the sample, sending the results to an alchemist/soil specialist
- Review the results of the analysis, if the results do not conform to the required specifications, the applicant will be informed, but if the required conditions are met and the results of the analysis are matching to specifications, the certificate for the registration of fertilizers and agricultural soil improvements is issued.
