Address Certificate
This service is provided to the tenant who needs to issue an identity card or modify his / her residence address, provided that his rent includes water, electricity and municipal fees. This must be mentioned in the rental contract by the owner. The fees are calculated according to the category of the rented property. If it is fully furnished, they will have to pay 7% of the value of the lease contract. If it unfurnished, they will have to pay 10% of the value of the lease contract.
Required Attachments
- The lease contract should include a clause that refers to electricity, water, and municipality fees, to which the owner shall be committed.
- Letter from the owner
- A copy of the tenants passport

Service Processes
- Submit the request through the ministry’s website, including all documents
- The applicant is provided with a reference number for follow-up
- The request is examined by customer service specialists
- A text message will be sent to the applicant to notify him / her of the acceptance of his / her request
- Pay the due fee (5 dinars) through the same website
- The applicant is given a receipt indicating the payments he / she has made
- A statement certified by the municipalities is sent electronically to the applicant
