A charge levied on all vessels entering or anchoring within the territorial water of Bahrain, except vessels calling directly to KBSP.

Fees
Ships arriving at dry dock for repair facilities authorized by the Ports and Maritime Affairs (PMA)
- 0.001 BD : per GT per day or part thereof for Vessels calling for Dry Dock and for repair facilities licensed by PMA (per call)
Other Vessels
- 0.004 BD : per GT per day or part there of with a 50% reduction for days more than 15 days for All other vessels (per call)

Service Processes
- The Ship Pre-Arrival Notification Form uploaded in the Vessel Traffic Management System 24 hours prior the vessel arrival.
- The ship is monitored on the Vessel Vessel Traffic Management System.
- The ships is informed by radio about the designated location for berthing.
- The amount due is calculated according to the size of the ship and the number of days it stays upon its departure
- The Finance report is sent to the Financial Resources Directorate to calculate the bill, and the ship agent is notified one working day after the ship’s departure.
