Review of the Holy Quran
The Department of Media, the Customs Affairs, libraries, or any entities that sell books and electronic devices can submit the relevant circulation copy of the Holy Quran (in print, audio, or electronic format) to the Department of the Holy Quran Affairs for review and permission to circulate, provided the copy submitted is error-free.
Required Attachments
- Completed application form for the relevant service
- Copy of the relevant customs documents/papers
- Random text sample of the relevant circulation copy of the Holy Quran with the acknowledgment of the Department of Media or Customs Affairs

Service Processes
- Fill out the application form and attach a text sample of the Quran to be reviewed
- The information of the Holy Quran is checked against previous records to ensure that it was reviewed in advance and the decision issued in this regard
- If the Quran has not been previously circulated, the copy will be referred for the reviewal of the Quran Review Committee
- The customs documents/papers must be stamped with the appropriate decision (allowing permission or prevention of entry)
- The information of the Quran, in addition to a soft copy of a text sample, is kept within records
