Notarization of marriage contracts for non-Muslims
Service Conditions
- Notarize all the documents issued outside the kingdom of Bahrain by the foreign embassies and the Bahrain Ministry of Foreign Affairs or by Apostille stamp. Translate all the documents into Arabic.
Required Attachments
- The presence of the spouses with proof of their identities - original passport or Identity Card
- The presence of two witnesses with proof of their identities - original passport or Identity Card
- Medical certificates of the spouses
- Certificate of No Objection from the foreign embassy of the spouses.
- Letter of No Objection from the sponsor in the Kingdom of Bahrain
- Divorce certificate if one of the spouses has been married previously
- Death certificate if one of the spouses is a widow
- Completed "Know Your Customer" form
- Notarization of all documents issued outside the Kingdom of Bahrain by the foreign embassies and the Bahrain Ministry of Foreign Affairs or by an Apostille stamp
- All documents must be translated into Arabic

- ministerial Resolution No. (28) of 2021 regarding the procedures for prohibiting and combating money laundering and terrorist financing, the illegal transfer of funds across borders in notary work, audit oversight and control and prohibiting dealing with terrorist individuals or entities.
