Notarization of a movable property mortgage contract
Notarizing the signing of a mortgage contract between the first party (mortgagee) and the second party (mortgagor).

Required Attachments
- Original passport or Identity Card (passport for foreign nationals)
- Certificate of ownership of the movables and/or purchase invoices
- If one of the parties is an entity, they must provide the memorandum of association, an extract of the Commercial Registration details, and the decision of the board of directors or partners
- If one of the parties is a bank, an authorized representative must be approved by the relevant bank, as well as the Central Bank of Bahrain
- In the event that one of the parties manages the funds of minors, a letter from the management of the funds of minors must be attached
- The original agencies if the representation is by proxy, and their attestation in the case of foreign agencies before the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs, or with an apostille stamp.
- Fill out the know your customer form by all parties.
