Retail shop mortgage contract
This service allows for the signing of mortgage contracts between the first party (mortgagee) and the second party (mortgagor).
Service Conditions
- Translating all documents into Arabic
Required Attachments
- Original passport or Identity Card (passport for foreign nationals)
- Present the Commercial Registration of the individual institution
- If one of the parties is an entity, they must provide the memorandum of association, an extract of the Commercial Registration details, and the decision of the board of directors or partners
- If one of the parties is a bank, an authorized representative must be approved by the relevant bank as well as the Central Bank of Bahrain
- A letter from the Minors Fund and Affairs Directorate at the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Waqf if one of the parties manages the affairs and funds of minors
- The original powers of attorney if the representation is by proxy (if the powers of attorney are foreign, they must be notarized at the Bahrain Ministry of Foreign Affairs, or with an Apostille stamp)
- Completed "Know Your Customer" form from all parties
