Conclusion of a settlement agreement through mediation

This service enables a notarized agreement between parties to the case to appoint a mediator during the consideration of a case.

Service Conditions

  • Translating all documents into Arabic

Required Attachments

  • Original passport or Identity Card
  • If one of the parties is an entity, they must provide the memorandum of association, an extract of the Commercial Registration details, and the decision of the board of directors or partners
  • The original powers of attorney if the representation is by proxy and in the event of foreign powers of attorney, the documents must be notarized at the Bahrain Ministry of Foreign Affairs, or with an “Apostille” stamp
  • Fill out the Know Your Customer form.

  • Resolution No. 126 of 2019 issuing the executive regulations for Decree-Law No. 22 of 2019 regarding mediation in disputes.
  • ministerial Resolution No. (28) of 2021 regarding the procedures for prohibiting and combating money laundering and terrorist financing, the illegal transfer of funds across borders in notary work, audit oversight and control and prohibiting dealing with terrorist individuals or entities.
  • Decree-Law No. (14) of 1971 regarding notarization

  • Visit the head office of the Notary Directorate
