Salary certificate (notarized declaration)

A notarized declaration from the declarant regarding their monthly income.

Required Attachments

  • If the declarant is an entity, the memorandum of association, an extract of the Commercial Registration details and the decision of the board of directors or partners
  • The original powers of attorney if the representation is by proxy and in the event of foreign powers of attorney, the documents must be notarized at the Bahrain Ministry of Foreign Affairs, or with an “Apostille” stamp
  • Original passport or Identity Card
  • Completed “Know Your Customer” form

Legal Regulations

  • ministerial Resolution No. (28) of 2021 regarding the procedures for prohibiting and combating money laundering and terrorist financing, the illegal transfer of funds across borders in notary work, audit oversight and control and prohibiting dealing with terrorist individuals or entities.
  • Decree-Law No. (14) of 1971 regarding notarization
