General power of attorney for disposal and management
Notarization of a power of attorney between the principal and the agent to grant powers of disposal and management.
Required Attachments
- Original passport or Identity Card (passport for foreign nationals)
- The original powers of attorney if the representation is by proxy and in the event of foreign powers of attorney, the documents must be notarized at the Bahrain Ministry of Foreign Affairs, or with an “Apostille” stamp
- Original Religious Ordinance document
- Completed “Know Your Customer” form by the principals

- Decree-Law No. (14) of 1971 regarding notarization
- Ministerial Resolution No. (62) of 2020 on the determination of the documents that may be notarized or certified by electronic means for inmates and pretrial detainees
- ministerial Resolution No. (28) of 2021 regarding the procedures for prohibiting and combating money laundering and terrorist financing, the illegal transfer of funds across borders in notary work, audit oversight and control and prohibiting dealing with terrorist individuals or entities.
