Power of attorney for selling and driving a vehicle
Notarization of the vehicle owner’s power of attorney, granting powers of disposal and management to the agent
Required Attachments
- Original passport or Identity Card (passport for foreign nationals)
- If the principal is the entity, the memorandum of association, an extract of the Commercial Registration details and the decision of the board of directors or partners, or the Commercial Registration of the sole proprietorship and its registry status
- The original powers of attorney if the representation is by proxy and in the event of foreign powers of attorney, the documents must be notarized by the Bahrain Ministry of Foreign Affairs, or with an Apostille stamp
- Original ownership certificate of the vehicle.
- If the power of attorney is to sell a vehicle, the vehicle must be owned without instalments
- Completed “Know Your Customer” form by the principal
