Revocation of power of attorney

Revocation of powers of attorney that were previously executed by the principal or the agent.

Required Attachments

  • Original passport or Identity Card (passport for foreign nationals)
  • The original power of attorney if the attendee is the agent
  • If one of the parties is an entity, the memorandum of association, an extract of the Commercial Registration details, and the decision of the board of directors or partners
  • The original powers of attorney if the representation is by proxy and in the event of foreign powers of attorney, the documents must be notarized at the Bahrain Ministry of Foreign Affairs, or with an “Apostille” stamp
  • The principal and the agent must attend if the cancellation of the power of attorney is conditional on the presence of both parties
  • Completed “Know Your Customer” form by the signee

  • ministerial Resolution No. (28) of 2021 regarding the procedures for prohibiting and combating money laundering and terrorist financing, the illegal transfer of funds across borders in notary work, audit oversight and control and prohibiting dealing with terrorist individuals or entities.
  • ministerial Resolution No. (62) of 2020 on the determination of the documents that may be notarized or certified by electronic means for inmates and
  • Decree-Law No. (14) of 1971 regarding notarization
