Declaration of mortgage release
Notarized acknowledgment of mortgage release.
Required Attachments
- The original powers of attorney if the representation is by proxy and in the event of foreign powers of attorney, the documents must be notarized at the Bahrain Ministry of Foreign Affairs, or with an “Apostille” stamp
- Original title deed
- Original passport or Identity Card
- If one of the parties is an entity, the memorandum of association, an extract of the Commercial Registration details, and the decision of the board of directors or partners
- Approved authorization letter from the bank if one of the parties is a bank
- Certificate of mortgage registration
- Previous mortgage contract

- Decree-Law No. (14) of 1971 regarding notarization
- ministerial Resolution No. (28) of 2021 regarding the procedures for prohibiting and combating money laundering and terrorist financing, the illegal transfer of funds across borders in notary work, audit oversight and control and prohibiting dealing with terrorist individuals or entities.
