Confirmation of marital status for non-Muslims

A notarized declaration signed by the spouses to validate a marriage contract issued outside the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Required Attachments

  • Original passport or Identity Card for all parties
  • Copies of the passports for the spouses’ children, if applicable
  • The presence of the relevant spouses and two witnesses
  • The marriage contract certified by all the relevant official entities and the Bahrain Ministry of Foreign Affairs or by an “Apostille” stamp
  • Completed “Know Your Customer” form
