Request to attach information labels to tobacco products
This service is provided by the Ministry of Health to private sector enterprises wishing to obtain approval to attach information labels to tobacco packaging.
Required Attachments
- Copy of the commercial registration
- Copy of the health certificate
- A letter to the Director of the Public Health Directorate requesting product conformity
- Colored samples of the tobacco packaging to be imported
- Samples of the required products to be imported for lab testing
- Regarding the required samples to be enclosed, they must not be regular photos; they should be enclosed as designed with the appropriate measurements.

- GCC technical regulation GSO NO> 2051:2010 regarding Sijaritus,
- GCC technical regulation NO. 8243:2015 about cigarette- taking samples.
