Obtaining 'Healthy commercial complex' accreditation
The 'Healthy commercial complex' aims to provide an environment that enables a healthy lifestyle at shopping destinations. Healthy commercial complex accreditation can be obtained by meeting certain criteria, as well as by ensuring a friendly, healthy commercial complex.
Required Attachments
Providing evidence of the commercial complexs compliance with the following standards is required:
- The complex must be open at least one hour before the official working time to give people an opportunity to walk around
- "Law No. (8) of 2009 on combating smoking and all kinds of tobacco" shall be implemented in the complex
- The complex must provide healthy options on food menus and follow the necessary health requirements in all restaurants
- The complex must participate in community health awareness
- The project must be promoted within the complex and via social media
- The complex must give first aid training to security personnel
- The complex must have a first aid room and an ambulance parking lot marked with a sign
- The complex must provide a designated room for breastfeeding (to be located outside the toilets)
- The complex must provide recycling bins and/or eco-friendly bags in shops
- The complex must provide services for the elderly, pregnant women, and those with special needs

Service Processes
- The commercial complex management team signs the application form for participation in the project
- The project, along with the criteria that must be met, is explained in detail to the management team of the commercial complex
- The commerical complex provides standards with the cooperation and follow-up of the Health Promotion Department
- Final visits are conducted to assess compliance with the required standards
- The complex receives accreditation as a health-enhancing or health-friendly complex
