Transferring Bahraini deceased bodies
A service offered by Ministry of Foreign Affairs which allows the Bahrani families to transfer back to Bahrain their relative's deceased body.
Required Attachments
- A request letter from the deceased family.
- Passport copy of the deceased
- Copy of the death certificate legalised from MOH, and MOFA of the country where the citizen passed away.

Service Processes
- Apply through the nearest embassy/consulate, providing the required documents (Name of the dead person, cause, place of death, contact numbers of those accompanying him, contact numbers of his/her relatives in Bahrain to recieve the body upon its arrival to the airport.
- The embassy will arrange with the airlines, and inform Mofa with all the flight deatils.
- MOFA will send the flight details to MOH to arrange the body transportation from the airport, and will inform the Egov authority to update the deceased information in their system.
