Passport Replacement

A service offered by Ministry of Foreign Affairs which allow any Bahraini citizen living abroad to replace his expired passport without traveling back to Bahrain by addressing the request to the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs Directorate.

Service Conditions

The passport’s owner/ or the legal guardian should apply for it.
The applicant can provide the reason of his residence abroad while submitting the request.

Service Processes

Apply through the nearest embassy/consulate for a passport replacement, providing the required documents.
Fill out the service application
Pay the service fees
The whole application will be sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs which will send it to the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs

Submit te request through NPRA website.
DHL will arrange for the passport collection and the payment.
A message will be sent to the applicant mobile, and an email which include the payment link.
DHL will deliver the replaced passport to the applicant.
