Request to amend the statutes of NGOs and clubs
If members of the General Assembly wish to amend a club’s statute, they have the legal right to hold an extraordinary meeting provided that they inform the Ministry of the date of meeting within the time specified by law.
Service Conditions
- Existence of a valid board of directors
Required Attachments
- The attendance sheet signed by the attendees and stamped with the seal of the General Assembly
- If a representative of the Ministry did not attend the meeting, an Extraordinary General Assembly meeting (exceptional) form should be filled out and signed by the president (or his deputy) and the secretary
- The minutes of the Extraordinary General Assembly meeting (exceptional) amending the statutes, signed by the president (or his deputy) and the secretary
Legal Regulations
- Resolution No. (4) of 2007 regarding the Model Regulations for the Statute of Societies and Social and Cultural Clubs under the supervision of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development
- Decree-Law No. 21 on Social and Cultural Associations and Clubs, Special Committees Working in the Field of Youth and Sports, and Private Foundations
- Legislative Decree No. 24 of 2000 issuing the Cooperatives Law.
