Request a license for fundraising Service
This service provides any entity seeking a license to conduct fundraising activities for public benefit, without charging any fees, using any method of fundraising or accepting monetary or charity donations. This is based on the amendment to Decree Law No. 21 of 2013 regarding public fundraising, which also abolished the issuance of fundraising licenses to individuals, except for religious purposes within the Kingdom, and stipulates that the purpose of the fundraising must align with the stated objective for which the organization was established.
Service Conditions
- The NGO must be registered and notified.
- The Board of Directors is in place.
- The association must be committed to submitting a report on the total amount of donations collected, as stipulated in its pre-existing license agreement.

- approval by one of the banks approved in the Kingdom of Bahrain allowing to open a bank account.

Service Processes
- Submit the application through the e-system
- After completion, transfer the application to the appointed person to examine it
- Sending the request by letter to the competent authorities, which in turn verify the request
- If the application is refused, the applicant will be informed of the refusal. If the application is approved and the decision is approved by the Minister, a notification letter to license fundraising will be prepared and sent to the applicant
- Send a letter to the bank with the duration of the license and the names of the authorized signatories
- After the license period has expired, follow up with the association to acquire and review reports and documents related to the fundraising license
