Occupational Disease Reporting

This service is provided to workers and employers with the aim of reporting occupational diseases in the workplace, in accordance with the rules of the Labor Law in the Private Sector No. (36) of 2012, and upon reporting, the investigation unit in the Occupational Safety Section investigates the occupational disease, prepares the technical report and sends it to the relevant competent authorities.

Service Conditions

  • The illness or injury shall be the result of an accident that occurred to the worker during the performance of work or because of it.

Required Attachments

  • Fill out the occupational accidents and injuries reporting form and submit it to the Occupational Safety Department directly, or by e-mail to the department (osd@mol.gov.bh).
  • A copy of the personal identity (valid) of the injured.
  • A copy of the contract concluded with the employer or establishment.
  • A copy of the medical report of the disease.
  • A copy of the social insurance report.
  • A copy of the police station report.
  • A copy of the facility's report on the accident.
  • A copy of the attendance and departure statement of the injured worker.
